Inexpensive retreat type structure to build on currently unimproved park?
I enjoy roughly speaking 14 acres of manor next to nil on it, near's singular something like 1/2 an acre to be exact cleared and flat, the rest is mountainside and would cart some grade to capture flat. I want to hold a simple retreat to use for myself on weekends as a "getaway" or to rent to relatives for similar purposes (i.e. nil too fancy, this territory is out surrounded by the sticks of western NC mountains) but I don't own the money right in a minute to build anything- estimates for even a small villa are around $65,000 and my budget is more close to lower than $15,000 right very soon. Does anyone enjoy any pious design for something simple I can put on it or a road to draw from something built more cheaply than a company would do? I don't want to put anything on it that would terminate the stop worth. Thnx for any accepted wisdom!

Two things that come to mind for me are a geodesic dome shelter or a yurt (see URL's below). A 24' dia. yurt is singular give or take a few $7500 US., a 26' dome shell tools is slightly more. Smaller version are also available.
we are looking into something similar for our property down here. There are so various option. We be looking into Log Homes/cottages which are available in adjectives different sizes and price ranges. During this researches we found Octagon homes. They look a features of interesting as in good health and are price astute cheaper. Since you are not planing to live within, purely use it as a retreat, that might be an choice for you as all right. Below two sites i found but i am sure in that are others, may be even better ones.
