What do you do next to rental property if you're getting a divorce?

Market is too tough to flog it right in a minute. There is a 1-year lease agreement on it. What's the best opening to manipulate this? Could a property controller be hired to collect rent and disburse it to both party (50/50 split)? Would a prop mgr also know how to money the mortgage from the rental income collected? Is this ever done? Thank you!

Anything is possible, unsurprisingly, but typically a property executive would collect rent and forward it to the owner. The owner is responsible for making the mortgage payments. Frankly I wouldn't enjoy it any other way--your mortgage is too essential to rely on a disinterested third bash to pay cheque for you. Perhaps a CPA might do something resembling that for you.
Most property manager would not want to be contained by the middle of something close to this, where on earth they're covering the mortgage and splitting the difference.
