Where are apt places to live within New Jersey, basically outside of NYC?

Hi. I am looking for a place to live next to three friends of mine. We adjectives want to work within the city but don't want to settle the price to live surrounded by Manhattan since we are purely starting out. Does anyone know of past the worst and possibly priced places to live surrounded by New Jersey? I be looking at Jersey City and Bayonne, but I am not acquainted beside these areas. Any assist would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Don't move to Jersey City its style of crowded. I come up with Bayonne seem similar to a better place to live, my sister is moving nearby subsequent month she currently lives contained by jersey city.
Jersey city and Hoboken if you want to be really close to New York. (Commute costs is much cheaper, but rent is elevated. I don't really approaching near since it is too crowd. Jersey city enjoy heaps areas, and I will consider the sanctuary issue for some of its nouns.)

If you don't mind your each day commute to just about 2.5 ~ 3 hours (door to door) and cost around 220 per month for the train ticket. I will suggest you to chew over in the region of the Middle Jersey. You attain much bigger an better nouns for indistinguishable price.
Areas around Metropark or Wookbridge train station. There are abundant population lives nearby and work contained by NY (including me.)

You can receive some notion something like the nouns next to http://www.bestplaces.net/
I be research the areas around NJ transit's train column and NJ trail's string to find the place that fits myself.
Hi,

My first choice of places to live outside of NYC would probably be Hoboken. However, it can still be really expensive even when you are splitting the rent. But it is a great little town beside some fun bar. You could smoothly droop out at hand near a moral crowd on the weekends lacking have to progress into nyc to clubs and stuff.

I would avoid Jersey City because near are greatly of unsafe areas.

Bayonne is okay...I know the transportation is totally worthy to the city. It have become a really wide-ranging sort of ethnicities..Arabs, Indians, Pakistanees, Hindues, and some other Asians.

I would also check out towns resembling Weehawken, Montclair, or Paramus.

But also remember since you will be working in NYC ...you will be tax by NY and NJ on your income.
Much of the nouns only just outside on New York City is priced almost as giant as New York is. There are still some rent controlled buildings and apartments in Hoboken and Jersey City, but I surface Jersey City may not be the best nouns due to the crime within the nouns. If I be to choose, I would look contained by northern Hudson County, contained by towns approaching Weehawken, Gutenberg and North Bergen. All of these towns and townships are inwardly effortless commuting distance to the PATH trains in Jersey City through the LITERAIL system, and are, at most, 25-30 from the Port Authority Bus Terminal via several bus routes.
