I'm a Yankee within TX. Housing in TX is various priced depending on location. the costs of a house depend om materials labor location and price of lands. Texas have more manor than some regions do. TX have more to expand where on earth some places don't.
My 1900 Sq Ft single story on 1/4 acre is valued at 100K , in MA i could not find anything comparable for below 425K.
TX doesn't own an income taxes lately some elevated property taxes.
suggest the TEXAS bashers pop in the TX dept of tourism site to appreciate a touch bit of TX.

I lived in Houston, Texas for 10 years.
