How much would you charge a friend for rent if...?
I own a house that I would generally charge someone $1300-1400 rent to live within. If I live surrounded by it and gain a roommate, how much should I charge her?

Are you sure that you want a roommate?? Your best bet would to rent a room to someone near kitchen privileges. Make sure that you know who you are putting into your house; I hold hear of some terrible stories of regrets.
Go partially, or smaller quantity if you are substantial
Do not rent to friends or loved ones. you WILL regret it eventually. Rent it out as room next to kitchen privileges, etc. DO not rent to friends or family connections
Why do folks expect not to lose their home if they don't accumulate a dime for it?
