I was evicted surrounded by January 2003, in December 2003 I salaried the apt community all of the unpaid rent I owed. Fast forward to February 2008, and I'm presently receiving an attempt to collect $4,000 for the months the apartment be vacant. I contacted them in 30 days of the letter to dispute and they replied by sending me an itemized catalogue of charges that was supposedly mail to me August 2007, at an incorrect address. Now, they will attempt to issue a warrant in debt. What are my option? FYI my credit report only shows the amount of unpaid rent which have since been compensated. If this other amount goes on my credit report will it be backdated?
