Can I use my in-laws income to carry approved for a more expensive home?

Me and my souse will be purchasing our first home..My in-laws will be living with us, is in attendance any way that their "renting" a room contained by our home can be used to help us be approved for a more expensive home loan?

Answers:    merely if they will be at the closing and signing the papers as co-owners.otherwise,its fraud.Only if you report the rent for the room as income,to the feds, state, are approved in your nouns to rent to begin next to etc.it sounds like its more trouble than its worth.
Their income will singular be considered if they are co-applying for the mortgage with you.
