If a house is sold for over lb250,000. it falls into the 3% Stamp duty?

bracket so for argument sake you settle an extra 3% on the full amount of the property, that within itself is robbery, but when a property is sold two or even three times surrounded by a year why does the exchequer pinch his three percent of the selling convenience two or three times, surely the stamp duty should not own to be salaried again untill the stamp duty increase is introduced, which can be five or ten year periods

Did you wonder why the Government wasn't concerned in the region of house price inflation?
but consequently the policy would attain smaller amount money.
They charge the duty because that's what the LAW say. If you don't similar to the LAW, contact your MP!
Tax is taken in two places. When you get hold of remunerated (income tax) and when you buy stuff (lots of other tax) - close to VAT, import tax on insurance premiums, bets etc. Stamp duty is not a charge attached to the house, it is attached to the transaction of buying the house, it is a short time ago another duty.

But it does seem to be approaching robbery, I agree.
I never promised you a rose garden.
...and it go up to 4% at lb500,000!
it is resembling a property charge...sale due...
