How to disagree your local strata's bylaws?

I live contained by an voluminous apartment, and I want to procure a cat - my home lord is fine next to me getting a cat, how ever the stupid strata doesn't allow pets in our apartments.
I'm not the solitary one requesting a pet, in actuality like mad of empire are - but they hang on to rejecting our requests.
What can we do to silver these STUPID rules?

A strata is apparently something close to a condo association. So one of the owners have to submit a swing to the bylaws at a board reunion and it must be approved by a majority of the owners. It is unlikely this will come to pass.
is your hotelier the actual property owner or merely a property guidance firm?
