Did my California proprietor hang on to too much of my collateral deposit?
$455.12 out of our $940 deposit be refund. Unfortunately I didn't bring pics when we moved surrounded by, but I wrote down existing impairment and made reference to the dirtiness on the move-in statement. All of the deduction be cleaning fees from a $24/hr cleaner, some of which ARE valid. But, he supposedly spent 2 hours cleaning the stove, 1.45 hours cleaning the drawers and cupboards, another hour cleaning the refrigerator and counters. Etc., etc. All this be verbs though! He spent 4.5 hours stripping and re-waxing the floors (shouldn't buildup of wax be considered middle-of-the-road wear and rip?) Also charged us for cleaning the bathrooms which be SPOTLESS, and charged us for cleaning the 'window, sills, tracks' contained by the Bathrooms. We didn't HAVE any window within our bathrooms! Because I didn't pilfer pictures at move contained by do I hold any ground to stand on? Or is it merely he said/she said? Will the 'bathroom pane' fiction backing my covering should I running out up within court? Is this proof of 'unpromising principle'

File a small claims suit asking for the ENTIRE deposit subsidise that wasn't refund.
