Have you tried Craig's List? There are list for almost every crucial city. Try craigslist.com and whichever city pops up, here is a complete detail of links to other cities on the page. Hope this help.
Try craigslist.org and postaroo.com. You can also walk to www.realtor.com and see if nearby's a relation for rentals. It seem approaching here might be but I'm not sure.
definitely http://www.hubbuzz.com. This is track better than any other apartment check out site I've used. The just problem you might run into is that it's in the process of expanding across the US so it might not include your city however. Just check it out to see.
