Buying a pub to live in?

i hold see a pub for public sale to be precise really cheap and have a two bedroom flat above it, my interview is would i own to run the pub or could i only just shut it down and turn it into my house?

Let me ask a question to clarify...Are you buying the legitimate estate or are you buying the valid estate and the business (along next to adjectives the permit etc... to run the business).

You could buy the building and rent the pub space to the owner of the pub. Do you want to be in the pub business or the commerical authentic estate business or both?

check beside the estate agents... most pubs are sold as leasehold...
and usually you enjoy to help yourself to on the pub to... depends if its sold as a pub or "for conversion"
