Selling our house: Stained vs. painted trim?

Several years ago when we remodeled and added on to our house, we stained adjectives trim, stair rail and doors. Our front porch and posterior deck are also stained (can you make clear to my husband like "stain"?) Now we are organized to supply. I know it won't be a great expense, but is it worth the time to paint the trim until that time putting our house on the souk? All rooms are some varying shade of a nonpartisan beige/tan color. Carpet is "speckled" next to brown shading. Kitchen floor is stone. Dining room hardwood. What would be your preferences if you be looking?
