Turn townhome into department?
My roommate is going to buy his own home soon. We'd still resembling to live together, but he desires to buy a house. Since i'd approaching to be surrounded by a house as very well - i've be trying to consider of something to do next to my townhome. I'm going to start my own business and i thought conceivably i could turn my townhome into my bureau. Are in attendance any law which would prohibit me from doing this? I would really prefer it man my department than turning myself into a manager.

I muse you may be misunderstanding what the city is okay beside. The city would be okay next to a "home office" which system that the townhouse would be primarily used as a living residence (i.e. zoned residential) but you could hold a small department set up within one of the bedrooms (you would involve to get hold of a licence for this). However, if you plan to individual use it as an bureau, you would want clarification from the city. The city is going to require miscellaneous permit, verify that parking is proper, etc.

Yeah, you hold to bring back it zoned commercially. If it be a house, it would be much easier to do. Since it's a townhome, nobody that lives in the other townhomes are going to want theirs rezoned, so I have a sneaking suspicion that you're going to be out of luck.
I would consider the condo association would prohibit this. Read your creation restrictions. Almost adjectives would prohibit you from running a business out of your home.
