Free rent for a year... too devout to be true?
So I'm browsing places to live online. I found a 4 bedroom house for rent, which the owners are desperate to get rotten their hands, so they're offering to foot for the first year's rent.
I talked to the guy on the phone, and he seem pretty legit, offered a tour of the house, said the rent would be around 2000 a month after the first year.
Any ideas on what the confine is going to be when I ask him about it? Or anyone deal w/ something like this previously?
Answers: Something is fishy.. if they are desperate to get it past its sell-by date their hands.. the query is WHY? The usual answer is.. because they can't afford the mortgage.. so if they give you a free year of rent.. they still wouldn't know how to afford the mortgage. Check out the validity of this until that time you sign anything or give them any information. It could be an identity robbery scam. Best Wishes. ;-)
999,999 times out of a million..., if it sounds too good to be true..., it is!.
Be extremely skeptical!
You know for sure in attendance is some sort of catch.
Beware of any classified ad that says the retailer is desperate!
Don't trust it. Gimmie the phone number and address. I'll give the year a personal tryout, then after I'll present you the report.
