How does paying beside a check electronically work?
I get payed tomorrow so there is no money contained by my account right now. I stipulation a few things and I was going to go to target and write a check. They do it electronically. So will it reject it? I enjoy written one at walmart before when I had money contained by my account and it didnt go through until the subsequent day. So does there hold to be money in there at the time they run the check and its a short time ago delayed payment or do they just check if its a valid portrayal and send it through? I dont want to get up within and be embarressed if they dont take it.
Answers: I agree with poster #3. I would hang around. The days of "floating checks" are long gone now that they're processed electronically. Google "Check 21" and this will explain more in detail.
You are essentially asking if it is okay to 'float' a check. It is technically informal to negotiate a worthless monetary instrument. It may or may not clear from your account on the evening that you write the check out. It all depends on their processing system. Chances are - if nearby is no money in your account right immediately, Target will not know that until the following day. Your check will be processed the evening it is written. But, if you have direct deposit, your institution may honor the draft but still charge you the overdraft excise. It may take a day and it might be a non-issue. It's a have a flutter. I wouldn't do it too often because your institution has the flair to monitor that type of action and close your account due to fraudulent amusement. Can you just wait a further day to do that task? That will ensure there's no loss of composure. I'm pretty sure even when they do electronically, that doesn't mean they're withdrawing from your account right away. Even beside the credit card charge, it doesn't get posted on your account until terrifically next day, sometime take longer. But to avoid any risk, I'd just wait a different day and do it with peace of mind. Good luck!
no you do not involve to have the money in your narrative. it does not go through immediately.
