HELP near ebay hawker fees! First timer EBAY SELLER!?
Hi guys!
So I just listed an item on eBay, and they charged me $0.60 for fact list the item. I understand that, but how does the FVF system works? It takes away 8.75% of the final mart AND THEN 3.19% FROM THE REMAINING BALANCE? That's what it says on the website.. im quiet confused going on for this; if this is the case, then the fees would be outragous!
---Also, I charged the fees to lift from my PayPal account. They set it so they take from it automaticallly-- is near a way to change this?
--I would similar to to know if they will keep taking money from my account even if I don't own anything listed for sale.
--Is here a way I can CANCEL the EBAY SELLER AGREEMENT after I sell my item? I won't be selling anything after this one article.. so if they do take money from my paypal even if i dont have anything nominated, I think it's best to cancel the agreement of them automatically taking money from my article.
I appriciate your help !
Thanks in credit!
Answers: They don't charge an additional final value levy of 3.19%, you are charged 8.75% unless it's a high priced item then they singular charge 3.19 of the balance over a certain amount instead of the 8.75.
They don't charge you any fees if you don't record items unless you have an Ebay store then you own to pay so much per month, whether you have items planned or not.
My advice to a lot of ancestors on here is to check out all the other sites that are free to sell at or lone charge you if you sell the item. I sell kids stuff at mykidscloset.com and everything else at blujay.com...both sites are totally free so you're not out any money if your item doesn't provide.
check out pheebay.com or powersellersunite (psu) for a whole list of sites you can go at to avoid high fees like Ebay.
You can also retract your sellers account on Ebay by going into your explanation.
hey Kiwi, this ebay thing is popular enough.Though i enjoy never purchase/sold anything here. But i guess the success behind this site is because of it seller only.So if others are finding it reasonable,,you shudnt verbs that much. For selling the first item that may b considerable money they charged. You better read all terms again. They aren't going to embezzle money after this time. You dont' need to cancel anything.
Each item have a different fee associated with it. It's usually 8.75 up to a solid number, capped, then 3.19 after that.
