Am I doing something wrong? Where should I be?
I am going to be 22 next month I work full time (earn over $44,000 per year), and I am in university full time (for 1st degree). I still live at home and do not want to move out. My only major bills are my vehicle (2007, bought new) and a $15,000 loan.
What would you say about this? Am I doing dutiful? Should I be living on my own? Do I sound like a bum?
Answers: No, you do not nouns like a bum. Especially since you are still in college, I think that it is fine that you live at home. After I graduated from college, I lived at home for a year so that I could release enough money to buy a condo (yes I paid rent to my parents). As far as your bills dance, pay them off as soon as possible so that you are debt free and can start positive. Are you in the 401(k) plan at your job? If not, any join up and/or start an IRA preferably a (Roth IRA) because the sooner you start saving for retirement, the sooner you will be a millionaire.
You don't nouns like a bum but you should pay sour that loan and car as soon as possible. After that, save, retrieve and save! You'll be sittin' pretty in a few years...suitable luck :)
