My husband is 14 years elder, should I friendly a mutual Roth IRA or a separate story?

Answers:
Married couples are allowed to fund into 2 separate Roths, even if one of the spouses is redundant. If you fund into 2 Roths, the surviving spouse can be name the sole beneficiary and you can double the amount contributed respectively year to grow duty free if you respectively contribute to an individual Roth IRA.

Maximum Contributions for 2007 are $4,000 ($5,000 for those over 50) and $5,000 in 2008 ($6,000 for those over 50).
I chew over roth's are better and would as a result step that path. I don't infer your husbands age make any difference.
PK is correct. It should be noted , nearby is no such choice as a "joint" Roth IRA. You can, however, designate the beneficiary as mentioned.
