You don't state if the $350 a month you are paying is contributing to the bills of the household, or does that $350 pay your personal bills, such as cell phone, inter web, auto insurance, clothing, etc. I do hope that you are giving your mom some money to back her near living expenses, that you also benefit from. Such as food, roast, electricity, rent, mortgage, etc.
Perhaps your mother is encouraging you to take out of her house. $350 is pretty cheap living. You probably consume more food and utilities than that every month.
