To work within any state what you have need of is a photo baptism explicitly issued by a senate body. Usually family will use their drivers license, but it can be an Military ID card, State ID card...etc. And you also have need of show a form of proof from the federal establishment that you are eligible to work contained by the US. Your drivers license or ID cards will not show any immigration status. A lot of what populace own and choose to show is a SS card, but you can use a green card (if you are an immigrant), a birth permit...etc. Or you can a moment ago use your passport and this covers both requirements because it is a photo ID, shows your citizenship (eligibility to work), and have your SS number for reporting your wages.
