I am unqualified to get different employmeny until after the new infant arrives and we would love to be able to hang on to our existing nursery place.
Does anybody have any notion on what beneifits we can claim besides maternity allowance? Any belief of how mcuh we are likley to get etc ? Really difficult finding out such information and own been told as we both dont no lonher work 16 hrs a week we are not entilited to help out with nursery fees ? Does any body hold details on child tax credit wor working charge credit are we entitled to these on just one income ?
Answers: The EIC ( earn income credit ) you are referring to is paid when you profile your yearly taxes..
Ask the nursery in the region of any accommodation you can get hold of. I imagine that if you laid out your situation, they would take and at least attempt to lend a hand. Otherwise, see if your church will help you out.
What country do you live surrounded by? And in which state or province of that country, if applicable? What is your citizenship?
It's impossible to hand over you any real adjectives advice lacking knowing where you are and which law apply to you.
Sorry - if you're in the UK:
I'm not a bit kind of authority on this, but are you departure your employment less than 15 weeks beforehand your due date? If have three months pregnancy to shift, that would be around 13 weeks. That means the company still have to pay you Statutory Maternity Pay at the rate of 90% of average weekly returns for the first 6 weeks, then statutory rate after that. Rather that than seize maternity allowance.
You can apply for Contributions base Jobseekers allowance, providing you have salaried enough NIC you will qualify up till the 11th week up to that time due date. Rate is 59.15 per week
