Anybody know anything more or less the 'reverse' pin number?

I of late get an email from a friend who think this is serious. I found a site on trellis dictum that it is a hoax - i.e., within the valise of a robbery where on earth you are forced to annul money at an ATM, if you enter your pin number 'towards the back', the police will be dispatched to your location at once. The trellis hoax info say doing this could impose the criminal to become more revolutionary.

If it works, it's a vastly apt point, if, it could in truth take home matter worst. Anybody know anything definitive?

Answers:
It's another myth.

Consider, what if my pin be 3773. It would be one and the same forward and subsidise.

If it be true, the bank would ballyhoo it.
