Fraudulent wall amusement - support and warning?
I had some fraudulent transactions on my article last weekend, I reported this on monday to my mound who said my card was cancelled and my story blocked whilst this is investigated by their fraud team. I spoke to them yesterday again, they said the report is still blocked and I will recieve some letters from the fraud troop soon regarding this issue. Today another change payment be fraudulently taken from my account, I be told no more transactions would occur but that I could use my unusual card I've just recieved but not on the other hand used.
I can not afford to lose this money, it's now over lb500. Can I emergency that this is immediately reimbursed? It feel like negligence immediately on their part for not stopping this. I don't know what rights I hold, what to say etc when I will try ring them tomorrow.
Answers: hi, disappointingly you can't just emergency it back as it have to be investigated just as it have been agreed for ppl to leave pin near card or give to family connections member etc and so the procedure must be duplicate for everyone. other transactions coming out may be due to the retailer taking a while for the card payment to run through but the card shouldn't be used once these have adjectives come through unless they are guarateeing chqs.
don't worry, once they can see it is a TRUE fraud you are entitled to your money back as long as you haven't be negligent next to card which by the sounds of it you haven't!
i understand you touch the bank have been casual however various small transactions are difficult to pick up as a fraud as these may look resembling genuine transactions a cardholder would cause. good luck, hope every item sorts out for you.
You should demand that they pay packet it too you promptly. It is their fault. Also, I would report it to the police (you may hold your identity stolen and you will want proof that you reported it if more stuff pops up in the future). Also, phone the credit reporting agencies and let them know so it doesn't affect your credit rating surrounded by the future.
