In this sunshine of online sandbank statements, do we still hold to keep hold of the broadsheet copies?

My stack of monthly wall statments is getting pretty generous. I know we're supposed to save them surrounded by suitcase of export tax audits and so on, but couldn't we purely gain them online?

Answers:
Sadly, because of due issues, we are requested to hold statements for 7 years within casing of an audit. Most bank will solitary hold your statements for you for a specific spell of time because of mass storage issues on their mainframes (data is not cheep, believe me). After that extent of time is over they will delete the oldest statement to replace it near the most modern one that is to say available. With the number of customers that some bank own, I don't really see a bearing around this issue.
I would for three years. Plus, some bank charge you for copies if you inevitability printed ones for things such as court cases ect.
no you can simply print a statement
Have you tried asking your edge to transport you 6 monthly or of late annual statements instead?

If you needed a 'composition copy' I'm sure you could return with away next to printing one past its sell-by date!
I know, it's complex to preserve organised near so plentiful statements but I really believe it's apt to save a weekly copy.
Banks usually hang on to statements one and only so long for customers who hill online and for physical copies, bank can charge for them. I would suggest using online bank so you can gain online statements or scan you statements and rescue them as any pdf files or metaphors. Either road, you'll know how to print them bad if needed.
Official copies are other better. But yes you can carry them online. It's well-mannered that you're keeping everything.
