I be scammed out of money. I give a personal loan - and he refuse to repay?
The loan be for him to invest in his 'company'. I assume presently the in one piece piece be bogus.
What are my option? Who should I report this to? I would love to sue him - but I realize spending more money on this scam artist probably won't carry me any money.

Got any agreement surrounded by writing? Got any documentation that you loaned him the money? I would probably articulate that you should sue him for the money subsidise contained by the state that you live surrounded by. That mode he'll own to respond instead of you file within his state, and have to show up contained by court for the lawsuit. He'll probably non-attendance depending on how much or little money he owes you, but perfect luck at collecting it. Probably should also report him to the Attorney General's organization within both your state and his. He may be breaking wellbeing law surrounded by his and/or your state by getting you to invest in his 'company'.
is at hand a loan agreement? how much be the loan for? If you own a loan agreement and the loan be small (under $5,000) you can probably step to small claims court which is really inexpensive. If you win, you can draw from a judgement against him which scheme if he ever have any money, he owes it to you
