You ask what ~I~ would do near it, as opposed to suggestions to what ~you~ might do near it. I'd have a virtuous holiday - I haven't had one contained by a few years due to caring for the elderly folk within my family.
But, hypothetically speaking. If I be well-off enough not to ~need~ the money, I'd provide it to the local children's hospice.
If I had long-term plans, I'd put it contained by an ISA or high-interest savings vindication.
If I already had Unit Trust funds that be performing quite economically, I'd add to those.
If I owned my own property, I'd presume about on the way it in some opening if the bathroom, kitchen, windows and doors needed replacing, for instance.
But I'm within my fifties and worried about my retirement; if I be considerably younger I think I might lately spend it!
I would throw it on the pile with the rest.
