That's the minimum wage in New York City past taxes. Could someone in actuality live on that?

Where in the 5 boroughs do you live in first of adjectives. I live surrounded by Manhattan and would not believe that 13,000 dollars even after taxes is adequate. Maybe you might work within the city but you might want to consider living outside of the city.
