Take it from someone who is IN college... If you start spending it, it will be gone since you know it. I read out whip out nearly $500 as spending money. Spend it however you want it, but put the $2,500 into a stash narrative at a CREDIT UNION! They draw more interest than regular bank, and when you are in place for a saloon or college (oh, and it's ALOT more expensive than you judge... This year it's costing me $18,000, luckily though I hold scholarships) it will be near. If you spend much of it though, when it comes time to put money on IMPORTANT stuff similar to the saloon or college, you'll be kicking yourself!
