Do you rip up your correspondence parcels or shred them?

Shred everything that I don't save as a register. I use a cross-cut shredder because it's practically impossible for an identity cat-burglar to piece them rear together close to some do near strip shredded post.

I collect everything and place it into their Reply Paid response envelope beside the words "Unwanted unwanted items post == Please remove me from your distribution list" written across any personalised factor.
After the first partially dozen 'returns' to Readers Digest have no effect, I took to sellotaping used paperbacks to their Reply Paid envelopes. After the 3rd one they stopped sending me further second-hand goods letters .. (lucky really, I have purely found a small sized brick that would a short time ago fit into the post box ..)
