If you deposit this in a long possession fixed vindication at 4%, you'd own around $8k after 4 years.. 4% is really low return though.. Maybe you should invest in spirit funds.
I wouldn't tie up your money for that long. You can bring 5.35-5.50% for a 1-year compact disc, and can't procure much more at 5 years even for a jumbo.
BankRate.com list a rate of 5.29% compounded day after day for a 5.43% APR as the best rate on a 3 yr compact disc.
