Oh, the IRS will eventually consent to you know that someone claimed you as a dependent on their taxes...especially if you definite "can anyone else claim you as their dependent" as a NO. It is usually within the form of a missive mail to your address of diary...and may appropriate +/- a year (hopefully you haven't moved)...but contacting the IRS proactively...counts in your favor!
