Regulatory Agencies for Banks?

I am trying to resolve an issue with my bank and I am not unloading ANY assistance from them. In fact, every time I call, I own to wait on hold for at least 20-30 mins!! Does anyone know what regulatory agency I can contact to go and get some resolution?

Answers:    Banks are regulated by one of several different Federal Agencies. It depends upon how the bank incorporated. Check their web-site to see if it lists their regulator. I can give an account you if "National" appears in their name, they are probably regulated by the OCC (www.occ.gov).
