Answers: What is most amazing is how many immense corporations have also taken on this "stimulus" bandwagon. Grocery stores like Kroger, who own Ralphs, Frys, King Sooper, Fred Meyer, QFC, and Dillon, to term a few have added a little extra incentive to the reduction by offering to trade your stimulus check for a gift card of the same appeal plus an extra 10%. That is truly fantastic. Everybody eats. If you can make your grocery budget run an extra 10% further, then that gives you extra change that you can spend on anything.
As for me, I plan to use my stimulus for finding the best Tex-Mex restaurant and the best pizza joint in Portland, Oregon. Thereby stimulating the flagging restaurant business.
