Direct Locks - Are they fraudulent?
I ordered some goods from a website for a firm called Direct Locks within Shoeburness Essex. They have debited my credit card, sent no merchandise and having said they were on the route now do not answer e-mails and when I call own a recorded message saying they are getting loads of call so leave a message and they will call hindmost but they don't. Any ideas what to do?
Answers: They aren't fraudulent - they have spent profoundly of time and effort getting listed surrounded by all the main business directories and enjoy put themselves on Google Maps, exposing their location to angry customers.
They may well be in financial trouble, though. If they haven't compensated their bills, they won't have the stock to supply all their customers, and may not be handling that outstandingly well (as you can confirm!). Their accounts are up to date, and you can buy a copy of these from Companies House for a very small fee.
You may want to look at Companies House collection before dealing with similar companies.
Direct Locks is the trading entitle of Dilok Limited, (see bottom of page).

It does look like a buffer company, not to be confused near Dilok Limited of Thailand.
I would be talking to Trading Standards on Monday morning, they are positioned to cease trading beside lb1 per shareholder liability.
They have probably folded, it's always risky dealing beside small companies on the net, if they have your credit card details they can unsophisticatedly do anything, if you are worried then cancel the card and writ a new one.
If you have spent money later you can claim it back from the card company, give em a ring ...
