What are the benefits of pre-screening potential body and how much does it cost?

Employment screening is a tool that companies can use to verify applicant resumes and/or to reveal publicly available information. Screening reports can disclose criminal/civil documentation, contact information, employment histories, credit checks, and other information. By screening body, companies ensure the part and integrity of their employment stand.
Typically, employment screening is subject to the Fair Credit Reporting Act - which mode applicants are given particular rights contained by the screening process. Generally, written consent must be given to the employer to achieve the blind and adverse opinion may be contested. For more information, see the Federal Trade Commission website at http://www.ftc.gov

You can weed out some candidate that basically don't fit. If doesn't cost anything (or at least possible terrifically little) if you (or someone) simply call them up and asks them question, and if it removes some those that clearly won't fit next its ably worth it.
