Is it true that some companies surrounded by America customer call find routed to India?
The other day I have a technical issue w/my laptop when I called customer service I get a man with a markedly prominent Indian accent, and I couldn't really read between the lines half of what he said. This happen pretty often beside most large companies. I thought the call stay in the US, and be just answered by individuals that have a hefty accent. My guy say that the calls sometimes go and get routed to india, or other countries bc its cheaper for them... Is that true?
Answers: A lot of call centers are within India, I have experienced indistinguishable thing myself. I saw a show on small screen that showed some of the call centers contained by India so I know it is true.
