I am speaking of the work place. As an accountant, do you hold closely of deadline. Is the work really independent. Is within seriously of bureau politics involved. I am a retired auditor, formerly beside the Wisconsin Department of Revenue. We audited small and environment size businesses, for income,and sale export tax. We also did an occasional estate and bequest levy return. It be great! Each audit begin as a mystery more or less to unravel. It be basic to enjoy an audit plan, we usually worked singly. Many small businesses have no internal control, and we saw copious fraud situations.
Numbers, numbers, numbers...they never ruin. I've never be an accountant...although I've pretended to be one.
