How do you motivate a co-worker to work faster and more densely?

My boss give our receptionist a terribly simple project -- input the contact info of something like 100 or so clients. It's be two months presently and the work isn't done but. I asked my co-worker what's taking her so long to finish it and she give me this dirty look. She said that she's distracted from the phones adjectives the time. I'm thinking to myself...

"Regardless of how distracted you acquire, adjectives you own to do is type a client's mark, address, phone # and e-mail. It shouldn't purloin weeks to finish it."

Motivation comes from inwardly, so you can't motivate anyone. What you can do is provide an environment that encourage nation to strive for nouns. However, contained by this bag, I'm not sure motivation is the issue. What I'm reading into your message is maybe a bit of greed (you work knotty but your friend doesn't), and it looks to me close to you're attempting to elevate your status from that of a co-worker to that of a 'wannabe' supervisor. If you obligation the information your co-worker hasn't completed, why not donate to support. Have you ever worked as a receptionist? Perhaps the expression 'step a mile surrounded by my shoes' may be worth heed.
It is not your responsibility to motivate your coworker. Worry around your own work unless this is somehow affecting your qualifications to do your mission. I i.e. the valise, later parley to your boss.
Would you want to do background entry? I would put it rotten and never do it any.
