I work at a dairy queen, and i of late today found out that i fractured my femur and my doctor doesnt want me to be on my foot, he requirements me to lay down and rest for the subsequent week. I am schedualed to work this week and i give my profession the doctors document stating that i cant work for a week..my opportunity can be angry just about stuff resembling that, and my doctors appointement be durning work today, so i have to start out and i be supposed to come right vertebrae after the appointment, but the doctor told me he diodnt want me to be in motion to work, he considered necessary me to budge rest, and my duty be really busy today, so they needed me.and immediately i cant work for a week. And over that, earlier i found adjectives of this out, my girlfriend have to own her toenail removed so she cant tramp any, so she ALSO have a doctors facts and not here work rash the hours of darkness up to that time, so this is a really REALLY big irony and we know it looks odd, but can my chore fire me,...if i hold a doctors minute??

Answers:
They can't Fire you for a Disabling Injury, Medically Certified.
Just cogitate to Yourself: It's a Minimum Wage Job, They should Calm down, It will Survive for a Week minus a Person.

Sounds approaching you should both Relax a bit.Take surrounded by a DVD or something at Home.
No. However, if you fractured your femur, you would be out of commission for closely longer than a week. Are you sure what you are motto is accurate?
It really depends on the state you live it.
Florida, for an example, have the 'right to work decree' which process they can fire you at any time for anything and they want no idea to fire you it can be 'newly because'. Ironic huh?
If you live in a state that have "employment at will", or you haven't signed an employment contract, they can fire you at any time and for no idea. Jobs surrounded by hurriedly food are a dime a dozen, so you won't be out of work for long anyhow.
First see if you live in a AT WILL state. If youi do where on earth i bet you do an employeer can agree to you be in motion for any source. However. they give the impression of being angry and if they fire you for this you can profile umemployempolyment, plus if they cannot acknowlege that you enjoy a medical condition is it a place you want to work at.
It's not a cross-examine of "can they fire me"..? It's more a put somebody through the mill of what would/could you do if they did..? Can you afford to cart them to court to prove your valise..? What do you do for money within the meantime..?

Why not natter to your leader..Explain the situation and try to compromise..Maybe work 1/2 shifts for a few days until you are rear to 100%

Otherwise, you might seize fired, and next what will you do for money..?

Good Luck

As long as you hold a dr's information, your employer cannot fire you. Legally, he have to hold your duty until you return. Stuff close to that happen to nation and employer own to craft concessions for incidents. Don't verbs. It is unjust for him to fire you.
Sure the business wishes relatives to work. If you own be a great member of staff.. They will not fire you... You must hang on to your employer informed at adjectives times especially when you are suspost to work... And don't show...
If they must hire replacement workers due to your absents, they can cancel you. Most companies will work near you on and injury or bad health and missing work, but in that is no requirement that they do so. You can be terminated for any drive or no pretext at adjectives. Talk to you boss and try to work something out. DO IT NOW... Don't dally hopping for the best.. Good Luck
