No. You can charge the computer to your existing credit card, and later compaq will be rewarded past its sell-by date, you will immediately be paying your credit card company. I detest getting tons of credit cards, have too much credit lowers your credit gain because you are considered a risk (possibility of spending $40,000 and not paying etc.)
If you are buying from Compaq, that may be their nouns company. When I purchased my dell computer, I received a Dell card surrounded by the messages, almost resembling a store credit card near a credit restrain.
If you are buying from Compaq, next yes.
However.. Make sure you deduce your language.. Monthly payments over how plentiful months? I made this mistake once.. yes I have the low monthly payments, but the iterest be so lofty (30%)! that I done up paying 2xs as much for my computer..
If you hold a lower rate credit card, that would be your best bet!
