What I call a splurge is spending $20 at the thrift store. I want to capture out of this but I find myself thinking I have done the inpardonable sin if I own a good year and find things averaging to $50 (for myself; my family; house).
Do you guess I am short changing myself. I'm within my 40's and I don't even want to pay $40 for a alien pair of shoes. I hold taken some of my friends to these stores and they always try to have a word me out of going and buying something new. I touch that a good brand that's used is better than a cheap brand trial.
Also, instead of renting old movies, I buy used VHS cassette because I have three video players contained by good condition. I also identify that there are video/DVD combos around. I know in the order of a store in which I can purchase 3 VHS cass. for $2. Good ones I haven't see.
