Has anyone else have zilch but trouble since transferring their gas and electricity bills to Powergen?
Firstly thankyou to adjectives who responded to my similarly worded give somebody the third degree which I posted yesterday. I shall presently attempt to finish this story. Had pre-payment meter installed on Jan 4th 07 in rank to retribution rotten lb641.85 gas bill resulting from not mortal billed for 9 months despite anyone on a quarterly billing arrangement. I have not notice ,because gas & elec appeared on indistinguishable bill. Meter set to subtract lb7 per wk against arrears. Fine, I'll a moment ago spend the subsequent 2 yrs paying it sour. At least possible presently I won't hold to verbs roughly speaking unloading out of the blue demands for ample amounts of money. Alas not so. Shared topping up duties beside "domestic services manager".From April I did not top up the meter, but continued to consume gas in equal course (daily use of gas hob).Prior to April lb20 to 30 be human being spent respectively week on top-ups. I complained to Energywatch (on the web)
It be closing year when a relatives beneficiary died, and have to bring charge of the bills as resourcefully as other things i did'nt know just about, and beside respect, i found out that the family unit appendage have not be paying their bills, although i be told otherwise. Anyway, aswell as have to sort out the utility bills, the one that get me riled up, be trying swap gas and electric suppliers. At the time, I considered powergen to be cheap and even so to own worthy customer service. How wrong be I? So I did a bit of research via word of mouth and reporters. It be afterwards that I come across a website that offer cheap fuel, and I come to swot that they also have excellant customer service (even spur-of-the-moment to pick the phone up at the other end).
