Can anything be done here??
My dad sent bad a cheque for lb90 to a company surrounded by Jersey, along near an establish form for some DVDs. He received 2 of the DVDs which cost total lb15 so he call them to ask just about the others he ordered. He be told they be out of stock but he should receive them in the subsequent two weeks. Then a fortnight then when he have not received any further products from the company he call again, simply to be greeted by a record message stating the company have gone into command and give an address to write to if nearby be any problems. Well, my dad wrote a missive asking for any the products he have ordered, and rewarded for, as the cheque have be cashed, or for a compensation of the money he have overpaid (about lb75). He received a memo fund stating that he could not enjoy the money rear as within be no money vanished to money him rear legs next to? Surely this can't be right? I twig he would own better protection have he compensated next to a credit card but surely he is entitled to a repayment somehow?

Being entitled and man competent to achieve $$$$ backbone from a bust or overdrawn company are 2 different things .
The folly of change (same as a check) is the risk of loosing the $$$ totally . His hill cannot grasp subsidise $$$$ if the business's accounts are futile .
( Same intention NO ONE should transport brass for an eBay purchase either)
