Why is using the possession "I need" frowned on by Management?
I have a unusual boss who gets wrapped around the axle every time I distribute an email to my employees that have the phrase, "I need" or "I want" in it. Like, "I want you guys to update me on your client status before the ruin of the day". Or, "I want these calls handle today". Is there a control book out there that frowns on these vocabulary? Or is he just quirky give or take a few the terms?
