Highlighting receipts to preserve ink, does that work?

I own receipts from my arts school, close to for textbook, and im anxious that the ink will shift away which it will. So im hoping that highlighting the receipts will comfort to preserve the ink for excise purposes. Do you imagine it will work?

Answers:
If your receipts are printed on thermal rag, even highlighting won't prevent disappearing. You enjoy to write over the print next to a ball-point pen back it fade and you don't have need of to underline after that. Alternatively, you can fit a few into an A4 size and photostat the unbroken group. The photostated page shouldn't fade. If your receipts are printed on everyday treatise, it's unlikely to fade.
