Is it mandatory your employer reimburses for mileage?

My sister is a receptionist for a small business owner. Her boss has her doing personal errands driving around and picking inhabitants up, errands etc. Just in the concluding two days she used up about 100 miles. He told her he does not reimburse for mileage, and should hold asked before she started working within. But driving around was not her profession description. Anyway, it seems undue he has her driving around wasting gas surrounded by her expense. Is there any regulation in California for this?


Answers:    no she's one paid hourly for driving around. I'd create run my own errands and make personal stops if I be her so boss can pay her while she's going to the cleaners,post organization Target etc etc
