Why is paypal asking for more information?

i dont know weather to trust them or not

for the most Paypal is trust worthy but it still have it's fault do to some untrust worthy empire. Most of their question are for payment measures
If it's an email you recieved..it's most promising a phishing scam to draw from personal information. Best to simply delete it and directly progress to settle up chum and use their contact them info and ask them if they require info or check your sketch information...if their is any problem.it will automatically direct you to update your info and what info wishes updating.
Please, be deeply watchful beside Paypal, they hijack customer's money for 180 days
so they can day-trade it and put the profit within their own pockets.
So they usually use "Money on hold" or "suspicious activities" as an excuse to use their customer's money.

Please check this out, and please make out that they pile it on another product. Since I don't know this product and I don't know anyone who does you should distrust it too.
