Disolving a sole proprietorship...?

I want to disolve my sole proprietorship in NJ.
I am not sure how to turn give or take a few it. The business be not required to collect sale duty, and it be a service just business.
Should my accountant know what to do?
Does anyone know that steps that must be taken...if any at adjectives?
Thanks within finance.

Answers:
What to do: (1) notify any state taxing authorities that you are no longer in business; (2) when you record your 1040 entry on your Schedule C that you hold terminated your business; and (3) notify, if indispensable, the Secretary of State that your business no longer exists (that may be unneccessary). Sole-propreitors are business forms for taxing purposes...so dissolution is undemanding.
