Has anyone ever tied one of those book clubs?
I am thinking around joining a book club. The traffic is I bring back five books at 20 cents respectively plus S&H, and next I'm joining the club. I am obligated after this to buy four more books inwardly the subsequent year, at the regular price. They also said something give or take a few sending a catalog, and automatically sending a book of their choice if I don't rebuff it in ten days. Which I guess I could switch, if that's truly the process it works. So my cross-question is, have anyone else done this? If so, is it a scam, or is it a appropriate style to win books at a discounted price? THanks!
Answers:
It's not a scam, BUT take care, if you don't convey wager on the card near the catalog by the due date, you'll catch a clean book contained by the e-mail (and a bill for it).
Call them, and ask how you bring bad the mail schedule when you've fulfilled your necessity.
I eventually speckled (RETURN TO SENDER) on packages that they sent me for a couple of months. Then, they stopped sending me automatic shipments, and eventually stopped sending me the catalogs.
Good luck, and I hope that help.
